This cute FREE printable calendar guides you through the 7 days leading up to Thanksgiving. We all know it’s a busy time of the year. This 1 week Thanksgiving Challenge is a great way to remember why we sometimes fly or go on long road trips to see family, gather to eat amazing meals together and make it a point to celebrate this holiday: it’s all about being THANKFUL!

Make this Thanksgiving Day count!

Let’s make this week leading up to Thanksgiving extra special! For the next 7 days, follow this one-page FREE printable calendar to inspire you to give thanks for special people in your life.

You have probably heard the same thing I have: that at the end of your life, you’re going to think about the people you loved.

Did we spend enough time with them?

Did we love them well?

Did we impact the people around us for good and truly make a difference?

As you go through these Thanksgiving prompts, think about the people you are thankful for. When you do that, why not let them know? It can be in a text, phone call, social media post or message that either lets them know directly, or that you share publicly. But the point is to share the gratitude. Maybe you’ll inspire others to do the same and pass it on!

Follow this challenge each day, to help you feel extra thankful the week leading up to Thanksgiving.

For example, on Day 4, we are thankful for people who have had an impact on our lives. My 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Segool, came to mind immediately. We’re Facebook friends, but I can’t remember the last time we were in touch. This will be the PERFECT day to send a little message or post on his page, letting him know how thankful I am that he was the one who introduced me to what is still one of my favorite books to this day: “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.” Truthfully, C. S. Lewis is still my favorite author.

We have so much to be thankful for.

I hope this Thanksgiving challenge helps remind you and me both of how blessed we truly are. I sincerely hope it also encourages us to let others know how thankful we are for them (even if we think they already know!)

Thanks for checking it out! And please share it with a friend. They may “Thank” you for passing it along!

I’m adding a few ideas to go along with the challenge, just to help you get started!

Each day in the Thanksgiving Challenge you’ll write a list (in a notebook, on your phone, on a napkin or wherever!) On your list, you’ll write down the names of the people you live with, work with, love to hang out with and more! Reach out to them and let them know how thankful you are for them. I’ll go out on a limb and guess you’ll probably make at least one person’s day!

You could even get a cute journal like this one!

(Note: Here’s my Amazon affiliate link. There’s no extra charge to you, but if you buy, I get a small commission. Thanks!)

Ready for the Thanksgiving Challenge? Check out the days & ideas (and free printable) below:

Day 1: The people you live with

You can limit this to just the people you live with, or add extended family here, too. I’m already feeling extra thankful for my hubby, our son and our daughter. <3

Day 2: The people you work with

This can be co-workers you have now, bosses you have appreciated in the past, or the person who helped you get your first job.

Day 3: The people you love to hang out with (aka your friends!)

Go all out! Reach out to old friends, new friends and acquaintances that you keep saying you’d love to hang out with!

Day 4: The people who have impacted your life

Think back to family members, friends, old teachers (like Mr. Segool!), youth leaders from church and others who have had an impact on your life.

Day 5: The people who inspire you

This could even be people you don’t personally know, but who inspire you by their example. Leave them a message on social media! Or just look around at people you know. If you see someone working hard and setting a great example, this is a great time to let them know you’re thankful for them. They may not even know they’re inspiring you!

Day 6: The people you wish lived closer

I wish my brother lived closer. He’s happily living in Japan, which makes me happy for him. But you probably have someone in your life that you wish you could see this time of year. Even if you can’t be together, let your loved ones know you’re thinking about them. We can be thankful to have them in our lives … even if they’re miles away.

Day 7: Thanksgiving Day: Thankful to God for ALL these blessings and so many more!

This one is pretty self explanatory. If we have a new day of life, people we love and so many things we can be thankful for, it’s all because of God! He loves you so much! We can give thanks to Him because He truly is good and every good and perfect gift comes from Him!

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”

Psalm 107:1

Finally, it’s my turn to thank YOU for checking out my Thanksgiving Challenge! I hope you’ll share it with family and friends and pass on that thanksgiving feeling!

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed week leading up to Thanksgiving and all throughout this holiday season!

Laughing (and giving thanks) thru life,

Coppelia
