A Prayer for Munich

I don’t know if you feel the same way I do.

At this point I just want to turn off the news and not turn them back on.

But I believe in the power of prayer. God’s word says “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 NIV.

And I don’t know about you, but I think the world could use a little more prayer and a lot more love.

Father in Heaven,

We may not have fancy words to pray or know exactly what to say when we see what’s happening around the world, especially with today’s attack in Munich. Our hearts are breaking. But I also know your word says you are close to the brokenhearted. Please come close to those who need You the most today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love,

Coppelia

  1. Coppelia, I feel the same way as you. Too many people are choosing to fill their heart with hate instead of love and compassion. More people need to think about others and know that all human beings matter , especially to God.
