How do I enter to win a copy of Disney Pixar’s COCO on Blu-ray??

It’s simple! All you have to do is post in the comments and share how a family member or friend has encouraged or inspired you to follow your dreams!

For me, I have to say it’s always been my parents — they’ve always encouraged my sister, brother and I to follow where God leads and use our talents for him (and we grew up in a VERY musical family, so I’m thankful for that, too!)

Can’t wait to see your comments below! We’ll pick a winner by this Friday, February 23rd at 6pm Central Time.

The prize will be provided by sponsor Allied Marketing on behalf of Disney Pixar. Thanks for having fun here on my blog! Come back for more fun giveaways and more soon!

Laughing (and singing) thru life,

Coppelia

  1. My mom has always encouraged me. She inspired me by raising three kids on her own and still working hard for her own dreams too!

  2. It was actually a former teacher, who helped me see past my struggles in math. I always that I was incapable of learning math (I always struggled with it). He took the time to reach me the way that made sense to me. I discovered (or should I say he did), that I am a visual learner. I can’t just listen to what is being said and comprehend it. I Need too physically practice the work over and over again. He helped me see past my inability add reach my ability. I became a teacher, in hopes of helping others the way he helped me.

    1. Wow, Heather! Being a teacher’s daughter, this really touched my heart. I remember teachers who impacted my life, too, and I’m sure you’re impacting more kids than you know! ❤️

  3. My parents are the one that encourage me to follow my dreams and to never give up on something.

  4. My mom was a role model for me when I was growing up. She encouraged me to follow my dreams and go to college. She was always there for moral support and I appreciate all she has done for me. I’m thankful for her and because of her, I became the first in my family to get my bachelor degrees.

  5. There are too many to name , but one that does stand out is when I found myself a young mom. I knew I wanted and had to go to college but too scared with my circumstances at the time. I feared my path had diverted far from that. A close cousin of mine was the one who kept pushing me and never let me forget of how important continuing my education. Literally every chance she had, she’d remind me. It took me awhile but 2 years after having my twins , i bit the bullet and applied for a community college. Fast forward 5 years later, with persistence of that particular cousin, and plenty of sleepless nights, I graduated with a career that I love and that gave me the opportunity to better my family’s future. To God be all the glory!

  6. My best friend from high school was always encouraging me to get out of my shell and without that I never would’ve had an iota of courage to pursue my dreams in the first place.

  7. I’m thankful for my mom encouraging my creativity! I love to create beautiful things and I know that love grew because she was always so supportive of me.

  8. I’d like to thank my kids they bring me back up when I feel down. They truly are Gods gift to me.

  9. My mom!! I was born with a muscle disease. My mom always encouraged me and pushed me to go beyond the limits the world put on me. I hope and pray that I can be at least half the woman/mother my mom is!

    1. Genyfer, your mom sounds amazing, but so do YOU for being brave and following your dreams no matter the obstacles! Your comment is inspiring me!

    2. Genyfer, GREAT NEWS!!! You’re the winner! Please watch for an email with more details from the sponsor! Thanks for entering the giveaway! I hope you enjoy the movie!

  10. I’m thankful for my now Fiancé. He pushed me to go back to school without me even knowing it. I was so scared. He wasn’t pushy or annoying. All he did was be super supportive and encouraging. I always wanted to go back to school, but wasn’t sure how to. Can’t wait to get my degree!
